Your data stays local

Everything Ciel observes about how you work stays on your machine. It is not uploaded, not pooled with other people’s, and not sold. None of your data leaves your computer.

You stay in control

Nothing runs without your say-so. Every automation Ciel builds arrives as a draft you can open, read, edit, test and throw away. You decide what turns on, and you can turn anything off at any time. Pausing Ciel pauses it completely.

The website

This site is served over HTTPS. The only personal information it collects is the email address you give us for the waitlist, held with our email provider and used to tell you when access opens. What the site collects and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security issue in Ciel or on this site, email contact@getciel.app with enough detail to reproduce it. We will acknowledge your report within three business days and keep you updated until it is resolved.

Please give us a reasonable window to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly, and avoid accessing or modifying anyone else’s data while testing. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who report in good faith and follow these guidelines.
